Mercedes-Benz has a monster debut in the works for the 2015 Geneva Motor Show.
The German automaker will introduce a possible flagship to the G-Class lineup at next month’s show in Switzerland. Based on the latest spy photos it’ll feature parts from the G63 6×6. The prototype spied testing features wider side skirts, a revised rear bumper and special fender flares. The test mule appears to be using the same portal axles found on the 6×6 model. Originally developed to allow a top speed of up to 100 mph, AMG could be looking into bringing that technology to a production model to help recoup development costs.

As for the wider fenders, they’ll make room for larger wheels and tires. Propulsion will be provided by a twin-turbocharged 5.5-liter V8 engine with 536 hp.
